So you're not a "10" in every which way. But you're probably pretty spectacular in some way, and definitely good enough in most areas of life. If ever there were a time to stop beating yourself up for being human, it is now.

The Psychology of Crowds
I write about faith healing and the people who fill auditoriums through building crowd expectation. I find it a very interesting subject with a lot of puzzle pieces and different dynamics involved. One of those dynamics which I keep coming to is how crowd expectations and crowd psychology play into the performances on stage.
The problem I am facing is that I would like to understand more about how the crowd affects the placebo effect, hypnotism, magic, and the like. I would like to know how much and how crowd dynamics temporarily help the placebo effect grow to massive proportions. Does anyone have suggestions about good books or articles that include studies that might help me in this?
I liked this article and it was helpful, but because it is limited in size, I feel like it is just the tip of the iceberg.
