First of all, Yan, Sgueglia, & Walker are just reporters, they are not a definitive source of statistical data........

Furthermore, they have a political agenda and offer no proof that the types of individual crimes they report did not occur before this past election, or before the past two elections for that matter........

This is what's meant by "fake news". Not just made up stories, but the omission of related facts, exaggerated claims and anecdotes shown without proportion to the bigger picture........

My point being, that over reporting threats feeds fears. Of course there are threats, but the result being that people are far more afraid than they need to be........

Fearful people make bad decisions....like striking back at innocent groups, or electing the wrong candidates.......

Fear is not a tool for change....it is a destructive force......Please don't feed the fears of people.
