As a grudge holder myself, I think parents should let their children choose whether or not they want to forgive others. My reasoning behind holding grudges is, "if I forgive this person right now, s/he might do it again, or do other things, but if I don't forgive this person right now, he or she might learn the lesson I want him or her to learn."
