I have to disagree with the meaning of happiness here. For me I believe the meaning of happiness is an overall sense of well being. Doing the tasks on the list would not increase my sense of well being as some would make me emotional and that is not always beneficial. I find the best way to "get happy" is to tell my self to be happy! It's that simple. When I'm feeling down I can't truly appreciate the moments that I experience everyday....it's like there is a disconnect. Simply telling myself to be happy somehow alleviates the disconnect and I can then experience and appreciate the small things in life that do bring me happiness, like hearing the birds sings or the sound of my daughters laughter.
