I write a non-academic blogpost on racism which suggests that racism is a modern twist on a redundant instinct. Looking for evidence in the field of evolutionary psychology, I noticed that APS journal Current Directions in Psychological Science published a Special Issue on Racism - which apparently had no mention of evolutionary psychology. I then found APA/NEEPS journal EBS. This very interesting post on the history of NEEPS refers coyly to 'problems' and 'difficulties' - but WTF? What IS the problem with EP? Why this apparently massive split? (To see my post, search for 'soothfairy racism'.)
