You're kidding right? It's way bigger than that! Most men are taught to disregard their feelings so in high stressed times or times they are told they are projecting their feelings they pull way back. We must train our men about feelings. They are not inherently born that way like some of the posts here or on other sites. Myths abound. Sexual projection and abuse and addiction come in denying and repressing feelings. This needs to be a part of the discussions with the huge confessions from "me too" women. Men need education in how to treat others and feeling work.
