Go to therapy, you expect a good therapist. My T said he does the newer therapy called IFS, he took two if the 3 levels on the education courses for IFS self leadership. He was good working on the everyday part's and Feelings. But, when it came down to working with the frozen in time exiled part's.
He was critical, mean, judgemental, scared those part's so much to feeling so unsafe, those parts will probably never come out again for the chance to be healed. IFS therapy in my opinion is a great therapy, with a therapist who knows how to work the therapy the way it was meant to work. Maybe longer training courses on the IFS therapy itself.
The t says he's not there to make me feel better about myself, that's true, because, he's making me feel worse
