Of course there are atrocities committed in the name of Islam. That's what the blog is about. I think you've misread what I've written. My point is that ISIS is right in claiming they are Muslims and those who want to say otherwise misread history. The blog took for granted that terrorists who claim to be Muslims are in fact Muslim. But the same can be said for all religions, namely, that there are both good and aspects that can be found in sacred texts. It's a matter of choosing the good over the bad.
Both disciplines have something to say about it.
