You hit the nail on the head, I totally agree. I'll be 60 in October and have suffered all my life from depression and anxiety, and I know it was from bad parenting. I have always known that I was the least loved of the 3 kids, and mattered little. I know my parents knew nothing about healthy parenting, but even though I've been thru counseling for years, I can't get past the anger and hurt.
