I agree with Pickledpie. Although Montessori is much better than "normal" schools, they are very restrictive. They are supposed to "follow the child" - but the child is always kept inside. I am now home schooling my child, but she was in a Montessori pre-school. If I had to do it all over again, I would have put her in a play group where she could have played and explored outside for as long as she wanted to.
