We live in a community with no streetlights or sidewalks so, especially in the winter, our black-haired dog she wears a reflective, fluorescent yellow vest. The vest has reflective tape on it but no writing. We have never tried to pass her off as a service/assistance/support animal of any kind and she doesn't go where she isn't welcome or allowed. A good number of people have asked whether she is a service animal. We explain that she is wearing the vest for her safety but now I wonder how many people will think we are trying to pull a fast one. Sad that responsible pet owners are also going to get caught up in this.
