Yes, as someone working in the food industry, this is becoming a huge problem. It is common for people to bring their animals in places that the FDA or Health Department has determined to unsafe and present health hazards. I can usually tell that alot of these animals are not really service animals by the their behavior, but of course no one will challenge the people in fear of backlash. There is also a guy who is in fact blind, and apparently has a service miniature horse....it is absolutely disgusting to see him handle the animal, go to the buffet and trot the animal around, the animal usually has a strong odor...yet legally nothing can be done....until an outbreak occurs and can be sourced.
