Shadows in the Sun

The invincible power of the human spirit

The power within to soar beyond fears and realize our dreams

Posted Nov 19, 2014

This morning I watched in awe as Arunima Sinha shared her story. Arunima “Sonu” Sinha (born 1988) is the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest. She is also the first Indian amputee to climb Mount Everest. I have often felt that climbing out of the dark abyss of depression is as difficult as climbing Mt. Everest blindfolded without a sherpa. But, as Arunima shares, each of us has the power within to soar beyond our fears and realize our dreams.
