NYC Event Alert: The Psychoanalytic Fair

One of the founding missions of Mr. Analysand has always been to let people know about psychology-related experiences they can partake in (besides a session, of course).

On the way for everyone in the NYC area is the Psychoanalytic Fair, at Teachers College, Columbia University, taking place on Saturday, February 8, 2014.

This should provide plenty of insight for anyone who’s considering entering the field. A free and public event, the fair “will present the multiple avenues for psychoanalytic training available in the NYC and Tri-State area, and engage the audience in a dialogue about the role of psychoanalysis in the 21st century.”

There will be a panel discussion in the morning, plus an afternoon information and networking session. Booths with representatives from each participating institute—there will be multiple psychoanalytic institutes gathered—will be on hand.
