Why Men Don't Ask You Questions

A cartoon about how far a man will go if he's interested in you.

Maybe men don't ask you questions because they're not interested, they don't want to act too interested, or they'd rather find the answers out for themselves.

The stereotype is that a man doesn't like to ask for directions, i.e., look helpless. But what about when he's getting to know you?

Betty Confidential suggests that a man is bragging if he talks about himself, and doesn't ask you anything. This sounds like an easy premise for a sassy post, but isn't true, in my experience, and doesn't give us much insight.

This question also came up on AskMen.com:

My question is this: If you're meeting a woman for the first time, aren't you curious about her? Don't you want to know more about her?

Maybe it's just that asking questions means giving the power over to the other person, and some men are reluctant to do that. What do you think?
