Making Trillions Is Spiritual

How to Make Trillions

I love money. You’re surprised? Sure, I’m spiritual but that doesn’t mean I’m from another planet! On Peaceful Daily yesterday, blogger Sandy mentioned the article, 25 Unusual Methods for Making a Trillion Dollars.

Of course, I clicked!

I thought the author James Altucher was going to list cheesy, obvious tricks like, “Finding Your Passion.” OK, I lie, that’s the first point on the list. But really, it’s a pretty decent list and fun read for the cynical yet spiritually inclined. I guess that would be me.

Number 25 is my favorite: Surrender.

Altucher writes, “You want something. Badly. But if all you do is think about it, you’ll never get it. Visualize exactly what it is that you want, and then give it up to the universe that you will get it. I know this again sounds corny, new-agey, but its on solid ground. If you obsess you’ll be too fixated on what you want to be able to change directions at a moment’s notice.”

Altucher is a business writer and managing partner at a hedge fund but also promotes yoga, visualization and meditation as ways to hit it big. He claims to hate self-help or “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” but somehow writes that “Prayer” is a practical money making method. Really? Well, times are a changing when a man who wears a suit and invests in stocks for a living can get into an awesome downward dog pose!

He sounds like a winner!
