This blog, like most of my writing over the past three decades focuses on our relationhip to the natural and built worlds and their creatures. Occupants of the intersitial space between those worlds, for many of us, our primary, if not only, link to the world beyond our own, dogs occupy center stage in their roles as companions, guides, guardians, aides and, although we hate to admit it, objects of fear, loathing and derision.
