Therapists in Singapore
I work extensively with individuals navigating life transitions, whether clearly defined or quietly unfolding. These moments, big or small, can leave us feeling unrooted, uncertain, or adrift. With my expertise in neuroscience, I help clients understand how change affects the mind and body, while using practical and reflective strategies to support clarity, emotional regulation, and more grounded decision-making during times of transition.
As a certified Death Doula, a core area of my practice is grief and bereavement, particularly within Asian cultural contexts, where loss is often experienced in complex & sometimes unspoken ways.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind (Quote Fritz Perls). Gestalt therapy has the flexibility in its approach to help hold space for the whites/blacks and greys of life. Together, therapist and client can journey to help you deepen your own perspective of yourself and better understand how you function as an organism/environment field - a biological, thinking, feeling being - and do both inner, and relational work to support you with the challenges that present themselves in your life at this given moment.

You get feedback that you talk too much or overshare. You feel you are out of sync with people, and sometimes say the wrong thing as you can't seem to read the room like others can. You might have problems organizing your time, keeping to schedules, being punctual. You can be really creative, but get bored and lose concentration easily. This impacts your work performance and personal relationships. You compensate by trying to please others, ending up constantly anxious. All this is exhausting, and sometimes you end up scrolling on your phone for hours procrastinating just to avoid thinking about tasks at hand. Does this resonate?

When Insight Is Not Enough: Therapy That Works With the Body, the Nervous System, and the Deeper Questions of Being Alive.
Many people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and capable — yet they feel chronically tense, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, frustrated, or quietly empty. They may have read the books, reflected deeply, and understood their history, but something essential has not shifted. My work is for those moments when understanding alone no longer brings relief, and when the question becomes not only what happened to me, but how do I come back into a felt sense of being alive and create from that space.

I have twenty years of mentoring experience in a University setting. I have helped teenagers, adolescents and adults who are going through anxiety and depression as well as those struggling with stress, overwhelm, self-harm, low self esteem, perfectionism, identity and relationship issues. I understand the importance of a nurturing environment that supports not just academic achievement, but also emotional wellbeing. I also have a certificate in positive parenting. As a parent of teenage daughters myself, I understand the complexity of modern parenting and hope to support new or struggling parents.

Feel out of control despite functioning well on the outside? I work with high-functioning professionals struggling with anxiety, panic, overthinking, or impulsive patterns — with most clients noticing improvement within 4–5 sessions.
Many of my clients are used to being capable and independent, which makes these struggles especially frustrating and isolating. Together, we identify what’s driving these patterns and focus on practical strategies that create real, lasting change.

Do you feel like you should be doing better? On the outside things might look fine, but internally there’s overthinking, self-doubt, or pressure that doesn’t switch off. You might find yourself people-pleasing, being hard on yourself, or using alcohol, drugs, food, or distraction to cope. You may have already tried to push yourself to think more positively or behave differently, but when it doesn’t work or doesn't last, you end up feeling guilty or frustrated. You want to feel good about yourself, not to keep feeling so stuck, and move towards what you want in life.

To most people, the word trauma may be terrifying. In reality, it simply refers to a negative overwhelming experience or experiences. Overwhelming? Yes, any kind of overpowering experiences that cause extreme distress to the body, emotions, thoughts and mental states. These drive our physical and mental systems into survival modes of fight, flight or freeze in order to manage situations that are threatening or jeopardize survival. When left unaddressed, these modes may become the new operating system. Overtime, a traumatized person may get so used to operating in this mode, and it becomes an auto-pilot or default mode for them.
