I connect and collaborate with individuals and couples so that they feel seen, heard, valued and safe.
Have you ever thought about your life purpose? Do you feel lost and without direction? Do you ever find yourself pulled between what you want and what others want for you and too afraid to be your true self? You probably have lots of things you love doing, goals and dreams you want to achieve but your life is filled with obligations, commitments and the expectations of others that you find yourself drifting further away from living a life that you want and truly deserve. Remember, we see the world not as it is but as we are and as you change the way you see, the world changes.

With couples , I offer an emotion-focused approach to target improved communication.
I specialize in providing psychological services to children and adolescents. These include neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy. Assessments can be invaluable tools that provide diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations, and the basis for academic accommodations. The therapeutic interventions I provide to young clients can be used to address a range of common challenges including, but not limited to emotional dysregulation and behavior problems. Based on the client, therapy may take various forms and could entail a talk or play-based approach. I regularly integrate parent or family sessions when appropriate.

I Listen and witness and provide a safe space simply for individuals couples families.
A therapist with a difference. The past 18 years in this field have taught me that besides being professional, well trained, a therapist has to be genuinely humane, humble, approachable, and compassionate with a sense of humour, whilst supporting, walking with clients on their journey to wellness. I don’t give advice, because I believe each client is the expert of their own lives. No individual person is a problem but a problem is a problem and my job is to help clients recover remember and reclaim their agency. I was not there at the start nor can change it but I can be there to empower you with choices where and how you finish

Individuals and couples who worked with me usually expressed relief because they found someone who can finally help them make sense of their distress and pain without feeling judged. Their goals usually centered around being liberated from their distress (e.g., anxiety, depression, self-doubt, anger) so that they can maximize their potential and not just live but live well.

What type of mental health professional is right for me?
Some of the most common types of mental health providers in Singapore are psychologists, licensed counsellors, therapists, and psychotherapists, all of whom diagnose mental health conditions and provide individualised treatment.

Services offered, education, and credentials vary by type of mental health professional. Each professional in Singapore then may specialise in certain areas, such as depression, marriage counselling, or anxiety. Although many mental health providers are not licensed to prescribe medication, they may coordinate with a provider who can.

Both in-person and online therapy sessions are available from most psychologists.
How to find a specialist?
You can refine your search using the filters on this page. There are several categories you can filter by to find mental health professionals with the experience you are looking for. You may want to filter for CBT Psychologists in Singapore, or Child Psychologists in Singapore.

Many find it useful to use filters to view only psychologists that have experience working with certain issues, like Singapore psychologists specialising in EMDR.

What method of therapy is right for me?
When it comes to treatment methods, there's no 'right way.’ Each method of therapy can be beneficial for a variety of issues. Psychologists in Singapore specialise in therapeutic approaches such as CBT, EMDR, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), among others. Finding a psychologist or counsellor who is a good fit for you is the most important step to discovering what type of therapy, or combination of therapeutic approaches, will meet your individual needs. Learn what to expect from different types of therapy and how they work.

Can I afford counselling?
Yes. Most counsellors offer reasonable rates or will work on a sliding scale basis. Many accept health insurance. Feel free to discuss this when you contact the counsellor.
