In this partnership, I will work with you to identify goals to improve your emotional and mental well-being, thereby giving you more insight and a fresh perspective of dealing with life's challenges.
When a person seeks counselling, they want a safe space where they can talk, be heard and understood and to gain perspective to whatever could be troubling them. The client- counsellor relationship is thus based on empathy, support, trust and comfort, so that the client can talk about their most vulnerable emotions and thoughts without feeling hesitant or feel that they are being judged.

I have combined a lived experience of neurodivergence with my professional training in therapy and coaching, using that insight to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves.
You get feedback that you talk too much or overshare. You feel you are out of sync with people, and sometimes say the wrong thing as you can't seem to read the room like others can. You might have problems organizing your time, keeping to schedules, being punctual. You can be really creative, but get bored and lose concentration easily. This impacts your work performance and personal relationships. You compensate by trying to please others, ending up constantly anxious. All this is exhausting, and sometimes you end up scrolling on your phone for hours procrastinating just to avoid thinking about tasks at hand. Does this resonate?

I am trained to help you work through your misery, pain and struggles and create change in your life with a body-mind connection.
Do you feel tired or frazzled all the time? You have been trying so hard, attending to everybody and everything. You work long hours and tend to neglect your needs and deep down you know that it is not sustainable. You wish you can just run away from everything but you don't know where to go. This fantasy is also hard to execute because you feel guilty even thinking about escaping your responsibilities. You also worry that you are seen as weak. Sometimes you wonder if you know what you want anymore. Reading self-help books hasn't helped much. You resist sharing with people because you are afraid of burdening them.

What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
