We can work together on stress, relationships, self-esteem, and trauma using talk therapy, mindfulness, and personalized goals.
If you've ever felt like you dont quite belong - too much, not enough, or simply different - you're not alone, and you don't have to navigate it alone. I offer a space where your whole self is welcome: your questions, contradictions, grief, joy, anger and tenderness. As a queer-affirming therapist, I work with many LGBTQ+ clients and minorities who've lived at the margins - people who've learned to adapt, survive, or hide parts of themselves just to get by.

In my assimilative practice, I would explore your significant events, persons and relationships, from past to present.
Perhaps you are going through a transition and there is a restless anxiety. You are not sure how you are going to survive a dark situation that seems all but lost. An open door is giving you new opportunities but what shall you do? Something's inexplicably gnawing and haunting you. Maybe you are missing a past you almost had, or a person you can never have back. Is there a dream or a memory you keep trying to forget or keep hidden? Or your body has been giving some signals of unease that you cannot quite find the right words to describe?

Done with talk therapy? Music can do better. I am a trauma-aware, cultural-sensitive music therapist. I understand that therapy is hard work and it is great you are reaching out for support. Music therapy is a modality that taps into your unconscious headspace. Some 95 per cent of thought happens below the radar. By exploring life issues within your unconscious headspace, you essentially access the neuro-powerhouse to gain new insights, beat your bad habits and address unconscious biases. The power to heal resides in you.

I work with clients who may be struggling with grief or trauma related to their relationships or family.
In high-pressure hubs like Singapore and Hong Kong, many professionals quietly navigate the "space between"—where life as you knew it has ended, and the path forward is unclear. Whether you are facing relational stress, burnout, or the heavy secondary losses of a crisis, my practice offers a private Online Clinical Sanctuary. I provide more than empathy, I offer a specialized toolkit. By integrating EMDR, CBT and EFT with dual certifications in Thanatology (ADEC) and Grief Therapy (Portland Institute), we work to "un-trap" the tension held in your body and mind. Together, we rebuild a durable sense of resilience and purpose.

Couples Counselling
Does couples counseling work?
Research shows that couples counseling is effective; it can reduce relationship distress and improve emotional awareness, communication, empathy, intimacy, and overall relationship satisfaction. For example, emotionally focused therapy was found to be effective for about 75 percent of couples, and those benefits lasted at least two years.

When should a couple seek counseling?
Couples can benefit from counseling if they consistently struggle in their relationship. They may have lost the ability to communicate effectively, become entrenched in harmful patterns, begun to fight more than usual, broken the other’s trust, suffered from a mental or physical illness, or faced any number of other challenges. Many therapists offer free consultations, so if a couple isn’t sure whether therapy is necessary, asking directly can provide clarity.

How can I get my partner to go to couples therapy?
The decision to seek couples therapy is often driven by one partner, who then convinces the other to participate. When discussing the idea, the initiator should be direct and assertive. They can state the problems they see and explain how the relationship would benefit from therapy. In more serious cases, they can also explain how their relationship may suffer without making any changes or seeking professional help.

How does a couple prepare for couples counseling?
The anticipation of beginning couples counseling can be difficult—sometimes more difficult than the first session itself. Taking a few moments to reflect can allay those concerns: What are the current challenges? When and how did they begin? What do they want the relationship to look like in the future? Reflecting on these questions can help individuals or couples articulate their goals. Of course, the therapist will also ask questions and guide couples through the process.
