Hi there! I am glad that we are already meeting for the first time. You may be reading this while looking for the "right" therapist for yourself, your child, parent or your relationship. You may thinking that the troubles that you/ your loved one face are "strange" and "alien". These are understandable thoughts. However, you are never alone as the type of issues you/loved ones face are more commonly faced by others than we think. Regardless of their issues, all clients hope to be understood, to live meaningful lives, either by reducing or learning to live alongside their problems/symptoms.
I adopt a strengths-based approach to engage clients (and families where relevant) as partners to co-construct therapy goals and strategies, based on their discovered strengths and empowerment during therapy. Hence, I help clients construct their own solutions through thought-provoking conversations and questions, based on various evidence-based approaches.

"Am I a bad mother?": A Self-discovery with Peers
Mothers do so much, often juggling multiple roles which often involve caring for their children, immediate family, elderly family members, doing household chores, and paid employment on top of everything else. Mothers often give their all, yet question if they are doing enough and their competence. Thoughts like "Am I doing enough?", "Am I being a bad mother?" often ring through their minds. On the other hand, mothers often forget their role as individuals. Come by and feel validated by fellow mothers, while discovering your strengths and learn new skills in this strength- and mindfulness-based, 5-session facilitated group!
