Hi there, as a therapist I value the importance of connecting with each individual client, in order to understand and respond to their individual needs and goals. I work with clients who are dealing with a variety of concerns including; anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, anger, low self esteem, trauma, PTSD, and Tourette Syndrome/Tic Disorders (a specialism that I offer). I also help clients who are looking to improve their close relationships, including many who are dealing with infidelity / separation / divorce.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy & Motivational Interviewing to help clients cope with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, addiction and more. I treat Tourette Syndrome / Tic Disorders using Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tics (CBIT).
At Connect Counselling and Psychotherapy we provide a safe neutral space in which you can share your concerns without fear of judgement, supporting and encouraging you to find new ways of coping with life’s challenges. We will listen deeply, and work collaboratively with you to support you in your counselling journey.
