My goal as your therapist is to provide you with a safe space in order to work together through whatever may be causing you emotional difficulties. I have experience working with children, young adults, families and teenagers.
I am a person-centered therapist, and as such believe in your strengths and in your ability to create change. I will often incorporate creative therapeutic interventions into my work, but I also utilize more traditional treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy directives.
When working with new clients, I begin with first understanding how you are thinking and feeling. I believe in working together with my clients to set goals and working on a plan to achieve those goals.
