Our lives evolve in relationship to ourselves, our partners, our families, communities and other beings (e.g. animals & the land). Healing involves allowing a healthy flow of emotion, communication, care and balance in those areas where we find ourselves stuck. I specialize in working with international and interracial couples and families; and anxiety related disorders including traumatic stress, generalized anxiety, panic attacks and social anxiety from a multicultural perspective. I am fully bilingual and multicultural and will bring to our work my life experience across cultures and my professional training.
I bring to our work my life experience across cultures within and outside the U.S (India, Latin America, Europe) and my professional training. We will tap into your relational and inner wisdom for healing through an integration of Western and Indigenous psychology, mind-body awareness practices, and eco-psychology.
Allow us to connect and learn how we can work together; I offer you an in person 45 minute, free, non-clinical consultation. We can meet, experience each other in a therapeutic space, and address your financial needs. (Podemos trabajar en Espanol; conozco Latinoamerica porque he viajado y vivido alli).

I am trained as a Counseling Psychologist with a specialty in family therapy and I have been teaching and supervising clinical training in counseling and family therapy since 2000 as full time faculty at various universities in the country including Johns Hopkins and Lewis & Clark College. I have been supervising master's level clinicians and interns within school clinical settings, mental health clinics, private practice and a corrections facility for women. I provide supervision for both LPC and LMFTs. This clinical supervision group offers support for interns and therapists doing agency work or private practice.
