Brown Counselling and Therapy Services is a group of qualified therapists who are passionate about working alongside you to provide the tools to help you navigate though life's ups and downs. As a person-centred counsellor, I believe an individual knows what path is best for themselves. Part of this journey is knowing one’s true self and envisioning their ideal self. When an individual can successfully merge these two concepts of self, they may find themselves more at peace.
In a session with me, you will feel genuine empathy and non-judgement in relation to whatever brings you to counselling. I will seek to understand you and your journey. This a process largely rooted in your own self-discovery. I draw upon person-centred, existential, solution-focused, and logo therapies.
My experience and interests are based on the challenges of anxiety, depression, life change and existential crises, grief, stress, relationships, anger and supporting those who care for others. I believe we can build a healthy life for you, both in therapeutic sessions, and in the time between them. I work with adults 18+.
