My name is Naifang Wang. You can call me Wendy. I’m from Shanghai in China. I have been living in Auckland since 2017. I completed a Graduate Diploma in Arts in Psychology at Massey University in 2021. I also hold an NZQA accredited level 9 Master’s Degree in mental health. My experience as a psychological counselor involves individuals, couples, families and children. I will help you find your blind spots and potential abilities, and improve your resilience to develop and solve your problem. I always support and accompany you without judgment until you can stand up confidently and calmly to face the reality of life .
My counseling style is gentle,gracious and inclusive. However, I know I can't treat everyone. I know my boundaries and my limitations. I llike short problem-solving therapy and narrative therapy. Most cases end after eight to ten sessions. I evaluate and reach the goal consensus, make a plan, and check its reliability and make adjustments.
