In our one-on-one sessions, we will work together to identify and address the issues that bring you to therapy. Our sessions will be a collaborative process, focused on your goals and needs. Through techniques such as CBT, we will work on reshaping negative thought patterns and behaviors. EMDR will assist in processing past traumas, and Sand Play therapy will offer a creative and expressive outlet for exploring your emotions. I am currently training in Transactional Analysis- an evidence-based psychotherapy modality.

I have availability on Fridays currently either online or in my modern CBD space.
Kia ora. I’m Glen. I’m a counsellor and I help people to find things. Find peace. Find strength. Find connection. Find energy. Find answers. Find purpose. Find a way forward. Because we can get a bit lost when we're challenged by life. Stuck. Confused. Conflicted. To me, counselling is about making time and space in your week to untangle things, lay them out, move the pieces around and start to get a better picture of what's going on. Then we can work with life rather than against it and hopefully move towards better days. Visit lostandfoundcounselling.co.nz for more info.

We also provide online video telehealth services to clients all around Aotearoa!
None of us is perfect, and neither is life. That means it is completely normal to get stuck in an unhelpful pattern, to feel burdened by emotion, or to not know how to fix some problems. At Resilience Psychology, our Psychologists across Auckland and Wellington understand that seeking support to enhance your wellbeing can feel overwhelming. We want to break the stigma which creates a barrier for many people to reach out. Building our mental and emotional resilience should be seen as normal as going to the gym or accessing medical services.

Kia ora! I'm Mark. I use he/him/his pronouns. I have a strong belief that everyone can have a sense of their identity, regardless of their sexuality, where they can embrace their unique life pathway without judgment. I feel strongly about supporting the empowerment of women, I desire to create an environment of care and support for male clients who struggle with the notion that they too can express their vulnerability, sensitivity, and empathy. As a gay man, I feel I have a history and depth of experience to understand the different challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ people, as well as other societal minority groups.

Kia ora! I am a narrative therapist working in Pōneke. I have met with people of all ages and backgrounds as they talk with me about what their hopes and intentions are for life and what gets in the way of these. It is my work with survivors of sexual violence which began my journey to being a counsellor. However, I since met with people navigating all types of life's challenges and have a particular interest in speaking with those journeying with grief - whether this be from a death or a significant change.

So often we talk or act in ways we wouldn't choose to if we were being our authentic selves. I use a 'parts approach' to help my clients make sense of their mind and bodies. With awareness, they learn to respond to stressors in their life with more choice and freedom.

Otherwise I offer Online therapy.
I have helped thousands of people with Depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I treat each person as the unique person they are and we work together to figure out what is required. Sometimes people need help navigating through grief through loss or through fertility issues or illness and I can help with that. Sometimes couples want help to ensure their communication is improved, or help with navigating post separation arrangements with for their children. I am a firm believer in the benefits of Yoga and Meditation but do not push this on to clients if they do not wish to use these tools.

Counselling is for everyone — whether you’re stressed or overwhelmed by current challenges, or you want to address some things that have been hanging over you for many years. As a counsellor, I play a unique role. Because I’m separate to your friends and family, I can offer a fresh perspective, which can be helpful and empowering. I’m trained to listen to your story with empathy, to identify areas that you may not be able to see, and to help you to make meaningful changes that allow you to build a healthy and fulfilling life. I help some of my clients to unpack their life story in a safe and supported way.
