Hi, I’m Sang. I’m originally from Beijing, but moved to New Zealand in 2014 and am now happily settled in the Waikato.
At the heart of my practice is a focus on the therapeutic relationship. Your goals are the priority, and I work to provide a safe and supportive environment in which you can explore your thoughts and emotions, address mental health issues of concern, and achieve lasting positive change.
My qualifications include a PGCert in EMDR therapy, and a PGDip in CBT. I'm also trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and transactional analysis. I hold full membership with NZAC.
I have training and experience with a range of modalities, but have particular expertise with Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Since 2017, I have helped many people with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, attachment trauma, and addiction issues.
