Kia ora, I'm Rebekah. I'm 31 and a qualified counsellor based in Christchurch and Rolleston. I offer counselling in-person and online. I welcome anyone over the age of 16 needing support.
I work hard to provide counselling that feels safe and welcoming where our sessions not only consist of exploring your issue at depth but also allow for moments of laughter and genuine connection to naturally emerge alongside our work. I aim to provide practical tools, active listening and a client/counsellor relationship that in itself facilitate growth.
Having been to counselling myself, I know how it feels to sit in the clients chair. This enhances my practice where I can meet my clients with a lived understanding of the vulnerability and emotional honesty required.
I also have experience counselling in a high school, and experience working with whānau and rangatahi within a care and protection setting.
