My ideal client is seeking or experiencing change. Whether they have been trying to come out of an addiction, been diagnosed with a new illness or disease, changed career/relationship/perspective or are simply done with the way their life is progressing - they want change. They feel disheartened by the consequences of decisions they've made, fatigued by the daily grind of emotions and wearing masks, and are looking for ways to ease their suffering. It could be that they don't understand or know how to connect to their own feelings or behaviours, feel unlovable/wrong/bad, and have exhausted all other ways of healing.
Through combining creative arts therapy with eco therapy, I can support you to reconnect with your own wisdom: your natural authentic self. Eco-arts therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses artistic mediums (paint, sculpture, movement, dance, photography, drama, sound) out in nature to explore unconscious material without relying on words.
It takes an enormous amount of courage and strength to take the first steps on the path of healing. By reading this, you are already half-way there. Together in the forest we will hold your struggles gently, and through indigenous art-making practices that don't require any previous art-making skills, you'll find the true meaning of your suffering.
