I am an approved ACC Sensitive Claims Service Provider supporting women in Hastings township on Thursdays and Fridays. My other office is 25 minutes south in a field with my herd of horses. My purpose is guiding others to healthier and happier ways of 'being' in this world. This includes increasing resiliency by expanding one's window of tolerance to weather the ebbs and flows through self-regulation, connection and relationship. Equine partners do this naturally, so working from a trauma-informed perspective, I prioritize establishing safety and trust, by providing a non-judgemental, nurturing environment.
Horses give us instant feedback of how we are showing up in the present moment, emotionally, physically and mentally. Interactions with horses has been shown to alleviate stress, lower blood pressure and improve mental health. I can also work with you and your own horse together, if there has been a boundary rupture or traumatic event that needs repairing.
I am here to support you in your life journey toward feeling better within yourself, feeling safer in your environment and building up your resilience to be able to cope with life's stressors. I provide in-person counselling sessions, and 'partnering with horse' experiences.
I look forward to working with you.
Warmly,
Pen.
