You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected — carrying stress, trauma, or life transitions in your body as much as in your thoughts. Perhaps you’re tired of pushing through and want a gentler, more sustainable way forward. You want to feel safer in your body, more grounded, and more connected to yourself and others. You’re seeking support that honours your pace, builds on your strengths, and helps you move toward calm, clarity, and resilience.
I offer somatic, client-centred counselling that supports nervous system regulation, trauma healing, and embodied self-awareness. My work integrates body-based practices, relational safety, and nature-based experiences — including equine-assisted counselling — to support lasting change and inner resilience.
Reaching out can feel vulnerable, especially if you’ve been holding a lot on your own. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. I offer a warm, respectful space where your experiences are welcomed and your strengths are honoured. When you’re ready, I’d be glad to walk alongside you.
Take the first step to help. Penelope Harper now

My style of counselling is very eclectic and person-centered. I may use a combination of techniques in a session, drawing from a relational perspective, Mindful-Awareness Practices, Animal & Nature-Based Therapies, Strengths-Based Perspective, as well as provide some Psycho-education (if relevant), and integrate Somatic Experiencing. I believe 'Connection fuels Transformation'.
