I have over 15 years' experience in both private practice as well as being employed as a Mental Health Clinician and various EAP's supporting adults, teens, young people and couples.
My passion is to create a space for others to explore their concerns or challenges and feel comfortable doing so as we work together towards your preferred goals ultimately supporting overall wellness. It can be a stepping out of the boat experience to talk to a professional about what troubles us, so I try to make the 'process' as easy as possible. We all struggle in many ways (normal!) and often, don't know what we don't know so upskilling in self-care or healthy thinking or relational wellness is something we all need to do from time to time to continue moving forward in life in ways that give our lives meaning and colour.

Kia ora from your friendly neighbourhood Psychologist in Queenstown! would be stoked to help you to identify how anxiety, depression, struggles and patterns might be impacting on you living life well, and how to fix that. We all get stuck, which can make us feel alone and broken. If this is you, then please know you are a certified human being and you are absolutely not alone! I'd love to help you figure out what things we can do, learn or change to help your situation - no matter where you are, there are always things we can do to make it better. I have no waitlist, and am always able to accept and welcome new clients.

People often come to therapy in a time of crisis. You may feel lost or stuck, overwhelmed or out of control in some way. This may be a result of relationship issues, uncertainty about the direction of your life, grief, anxiety or depression. Life transitions such as ending or beginning relationships, career crossroads, becoming a parent, losing a parent, moving countries or children leaving home can all lead to questions about identity and purpose. These moments can be full of confusion, sometimes bringing up past challenges; they can also be opportunities for deeper understanding of oneself and for new possibilities to emerge.

Therapy is a valuable resource for anyone looking to better understand themselves and navigate life’s challenges. I believe that therapy can provide the guidance and support needed to manage everyday stresses, make sense of difficult emotions, and uncover a deeper understanding of yourself. As a Therapist, my approach is to support individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups as well as those struggling with a wide range of difficulties e.g., trauma, grief, feeling stuck or at a crossroads in your life, disordered eating, depression, anxiety, difficulty in relationships, or sexuality.

Prior to moving to New Zealand in 2019, she was in private practice working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, and has since gained experience in the New Zealand forensic context.
Having trained primarily in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Megan understands that 'relationships' are at the core of how we experience ourselves, others, and the world.
