Nurturing Hope Ltd: where healing begins with connection — and every person is seen, heard, and supported.
Our multidisciplinary team of 10 skilled, trauma-informed therapists and 10 Allied Health Specialists are all warm, empathic and compassionate practitioners. We prioritise:
Relationship and cultural care through whakawhanaungatanga, or building meaningful connection through deep, attentive listening, and manaakitanga, or acts of intentional care and kindness, Phase-based trauma-informed care, so trust, safety and stabilisation are established before trauma processing begins, and Evidence-informed strength-based practise.
We collaboratively tailor therapy options to address the unique recovery goals of each client. We support clients to understand their nervous system, which allows regulation, safety, and embodiment to occur alongside talk therapy. We inclusively support LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent people, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.
All our practitioners deliver specialist and compassionate ACC funded support for victims and survivors of sexual harm. Our team includes EDMR Therapists and Creative Expressive Arts' Therapists to support expression beyond words, and we hold expertise with complex trauma presentations, including Dissociative Identity Dynamics (DID).
