Kia ora. Therapy is more than a profession for me – it’s a calling and one of the most important missions I have in my life. I bring warmth, presence, and a broad range of training, experience and expertise to support you in ways that fit your unique needs and circumstances. I’m an Accredited EMDR Practitioner (EMDRNZ). Beyond completing EMDR training, which enables clinicians to use EMDR in their work, I continued to meet advanced professional requirements to attain an accredited practitioner status, reflecting a higher level of competence and experience in using EMDR.
Similarly, I reached the status of Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist (IFS International). I am also a Certified Mindfulness Based Programmes Teacher and Supervisor and train mindfulness teachers. My clinical psychology training was in the psychodynamic approach. I later completed training
in Integrative Psychotherapy with a focus on Existential and Gestalt Psychotherapies, and I have been a UK Council for Psychotherapy Registered Psychotherapist (UKCP reg.) since 2007. I have also gained in-depth knowledge and practice in CBT, ACT and Family Therapy.
