I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Supervisor with over 10 years of experience working in Mental Health in New Zealand. I offer short term counselling and long term therapy to adults, couples and young people (16+ years). I have experience working with a broad range of issues, most of which are listed below on my profile. I have special interest in working with difficulties related to high sensitivity (HSp), ADD/ADHD, major life changes (e.g. parenthood), pre and post natal depression, trauma and chronic stress.
I use supportive, non-threatening therapeutic interventions with the aim of helping clients increase self awareness, communicate their needs, re-examine the impact of life events and experiences, identify and change fears and beliefs that are limiting them and develop effective ways of coping with stress.
Whatever difficulties or symptoms you are experiencing, my aim is to help you develop new skills to cope better in your current life, while also helping you to gain insight and awareness of underlying issues so that you can make meaningful changes and build better relationships.
