I have worked as a therapist for over 15 years in residential settings, NGO’s, brief intervention services, private practice, and complex mental health settings. I spent 10 years working in the addictions sector as a clinician, manager, and consultant. I relocated to Ōtepoti and completed further training in psychotherapy while working in brief intervention spaces, a residential mental health hospital, and private practice. This experience has enabled me to work alongside a wide range of individuals from different socio-cultural, political, and economic contexts, and the myriad challenges that have led them to seek support.
I offer brief and long-term psychotherapy, counselling, and addiction work. Whatever the reason you are seeking therapy at this time, I have found that the therapy relationship is one of the most important factors for outcomes of change, so I always seek to ensure that we are the right fit for each other.
