Kia ora, nau mai, haere mai, and welcome to Kaleidoscope Counselling. I’m Malcolm (Malc), a counsellor with lived experience as a gay/queer, cisgender, legally blind man. I support tangata whaiora (clients) to build confidence, create positive change, and better support themselves. I have experience working with rangatahi/youth and rainbow and disability communities, while welcoming people from all walks of life. Kaleidoscope is committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi. At Kaleidoscope, we use a combination of Pōwhiri Poutama, Te Whare Tapa Whā and Narrative styles of counselling. These styles of counselling combine to help form a strong therapeutic alliance.
