Kia ora, my name is Karissa Vosper. I work with individuals (adolescents and adults), couples and families who face a diverse range of challenges. I have a particular interest in using evidence-based practices to support individuals struggling with anxiety, OCD, phobias and PTSD.
I also provide parenting support to those with children with challenging behaviour, promoting that a child is part of a larger system.
I am a registered ACC-sensitive claims and physical injury provider and welcome any enquiries for those seeking support.
I specialise in supporting behavioural change and utilise a range of behavioural therapies. I am passionate about using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with clients to help them understand emotions, build flexibility and achieve goals.
Within my practice, I think it is important that everyone feels validated, heard and understood. We are all human and going through individual challenges and sometimes we all need someone to hear us and help us in making different choices. I approach all of my clients in the hope I can be that for them.
