Lynley is a Senior Counsellor with extensive experience working with people around a variety of issues. She is in private practice and holds a number of contracts, Victim Support and ACC and is an appointed family court counsellor. She also works for a NGO. Lynley is constantly attending professional development in a way that allows her to keep up with new ways of working.
Lynley is eclectic in her work drawing from a number of theoretical frameworks to inform her practice. However, she views a positive therapeutic relationship as being one of the most important therapeutic ingredients. Lynley has a special interest in trauma and grief work and is able to work with trauma memories using a new psychological intervention.
Lynley offers a confidential, compassionate and professional counselling service with a special interest in women health and wellbeing as well as working with couples to enhance their relationship.
