Kia ora, I am a Christian male that is passionate about working with people shoulder to shoulder to create a shared and safe space where we can journey together through life. I know it can get hard at times for all of us. I love to build rapport and connection so trust can develop quickly. I like to contract honesty as part of the work we will do together so you can feel free to be you. Remember you are the expert of your life and I am only the facilitator of change providing a space where you can feel comfortable and vulnerable enough to make the changes you want. I will hold onto hope on your behalf and notice it when it emerges.

My counselling techniques borrow from Narrative Therapy, Person Centered Skills, CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Strengths Perspective. I specialize in trauma work, mental health support, non-violence education and relationship counselling.

As a Christian believer I can support you in your faith journey. I am a relational guy and care deeply for those I work alongside. I would say that counselling can feel expensive for so many but see it as an investment into you and those you love. Predominantly I use bank transfers for payments. I can send this information to you via email or text after your initial session however, I also accept cash if preferred on the day.
