Kia ora. I am a counsellor, supervisor, and educator with over 30 years’ experience supporting young people, adults, and families through a wide range of life challenges. My background includes working as a high school counsellor, RTLB, teacher, and in private practice, giving me a strong understanding of the many complexities people face at different stages of life.
My counselling approach is solution-focused and strength-based, focusing on what is already working, and building on your existing skills, resilience, and values. In essence, my work is about supporting you to better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour in order to open up new ways of thinking, and an improved sense of well being.
When you speak with me, you will be listened to in a non- judgemental way, and will be taken seriously. If you’re ready to talk about what’s been going on and explore what might help, I invite you to make contact.
