About
I specialise in working with adults, adolescents, young people and families. I use CBT in my work as well other therapeutic approaches. I I am proudly person centered, placing relationships and relatability at forefront of my practice. I have flexibility in working days and times, evening/Saturday sessions available. I have a Masters in Counselling and a back ground in education.Passionate about self regulation and emotional safety in managing life's many stressors. My expertise in the field of anxiety and strategies to cope with challenges make me a good fit for young people with dealing change and pressures of finding themselves.
I work from central Auckland and on the North Shore (Albany). I have speciality in working with ADHD clients, adults and young people. I also specialise in couples counselling, as well as Relationship counselling for neurodiverse couples.
There is never a perfect time to seek support. A common thought is "my issues are not bad enough to seek counselling"...this maybe an avoidance thought, especially if your anxious brain is currently shouting the loudest! Most research shows the earlier we reach out the better the outcomes, so instead, maybe ask yourself " what have I got to loose"?
