I believe that it's my job to create a warm inviting space for my clients, a space where you are able to feel safe and be able to talk about what is important for you while exploring what you may need. I work from a Strength-Based Person-Centered approach and at times may utilize other modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), DBT, Narrative Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Trauma informed mindfulness, Art therapy using an Open Studio Therapy approach and Sand Tray Therapy. I also provide ACC Sensitive Claims Counselling.

I am experienced working with adults, youth, children, couples, and family/whānau. My specialty areas are working alongside clients experiencing issues due to Trauma, Addiction, Anxiety, ADHD, Adoption, Depression, Identity, and Relationship/breakdowns.

I Was born in Christchurch, I have two adult children and would describe myself as bubbly talkative and quirky at times, which may be due to my ADHD. Having ADHD, being adopted and personally experiencing the effects of family members addiction I believe has assisted in providing me a deeper understanding when working with these issues.
