Kiaora. I am looking forward to meeting and working with you on finding your authentic self. I like to encourage you to become curious about yourself and where your thoughts and emotions come from. Or how you can cope with the problems that arise from everyday living. Life can really throw some punches and often you are not given a choice. My role is to be there for you, encouraging exploration and change and an ability to ride out the waves.
I offer a warm, kind, accepting place where you have the time and space to share. I really listen carefully to your words and have the tools, and techniques at my disposal to help facilitate a deeper understanding of yourself but we essentially work as a team. My role is to help you find your own self and your own solutions.
The main factor in success therapy is the positive relationship between us as client and counsellor. I try my best to facilitate that relationship quickly so we can make the best use of our time together. All that remains to be said is "Welcome - how can I help?"

Manline Palmerston North https://www.manline
I work a few hours per week at Manline Palmerston North. Manline is a counselling and education service run by men, for men over the age of 13. The counsellors are able to work with men around relationships, positive parenting, anxiety, stress, social isolation, sexual and physical abuse, as well as anger and stopping violence programmes. There is no set fee for individual counselling. A fee of $30 per session is suggested but it depends on what you can afford to pay... so they will accept koha based on what you are able to contribute, even if it is a gold coin.
