Relationship doubts, anxiety, long held patterns of behaviours, substance use, grief, aspiration for relief from effects of childhood traumas
I help individuals to thrive - predominately in relationship. As a couples counsellor/therapist I use Positive Psych, Relational Life Therapy, and Attachment Theory; adding mindfulness (presence skills) so clients can co-regulate, in session and in their lives. This model is a place of sharing - where any work that the individual needs, is witnessed and compassionately attuned to, by the partner. Many of my clients are Adult Diagnosed ADHD or AuDHD; Gifted; or partnered with such. 'Normal' is as unique as single individual I see. With communication skills, honesty, and intent - we can see you back to thriving.

I enjoy working with late teens and adults who are challenged by depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, self-harming behaviours, anger management, and neurodiversity.
I have attained specialized qualifications in substance and behavioural addictions, depression and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and C-PTSD. I work with EMDR, ACT, and strength-focused therapeutic modalities. I also work supporting parents with neuro-diverse children. EMDR is a very fast approach and results are quick and long-lasting.

I understand navigating the world from a place of perceived difference; how this can shrink and disconnect us from others, our lives, and also ourselves. This drives my passion for supporting clients in transforming Self-limiting beliefs and reconnecting with their inner wisdom, so they can lead their own healing/growth and truly thrive. Beyond Counselling, I’m a mother; I identify as part of the Rainbow community, and come from a diverse, multicultural family (Māori, Chinese, Irish, Dutch) - informing my cultural sensitivity and appreciation for the complexities of navigating dual/cultural identities, values, and systems.
