I work with a wide range of clients, but I have speciality interest in working with those who have had experience in fundamentalist or 'cult-like' groups. This may include experiences of religious / spiritual trauma, or a need to unravel past conditioning to find their own truth. I have training and extensive experience in trauma work. I also work a lot with people going through life transitions, or where there is a sense of needing to strengthen identity. I work a lot with people who find themselves somewhat on the 'outskirts' of the 'typical' - especially gender-diverse / non-binary and creatives, and many are also neuro-diverse.

I have a wide range of trainings which allow me to shift between styles according to the client's needs. Trauma processing - EMDR & PSI. Creative / expressive approaches - Sandtray, Dream work, Interactive Drawing Therapy. Somatic, Movement & Body-based approaches. Psychodynamic, Integrative Gestalt and CBT. 'Parts' work for identity examination.

My therapy room is spacious and welcoming, and my aim is for it to feel like a haven for you, where you can be true to yourself, and feel safe and supported. Therapy journeys can be hard, but you're more than 'your problems' - there's also space here for you to acknowledge your strengths, celebrate your progress & find joy and delight within the challenges!
