About
My experience and education strengthens my ability to empathize with and support clients across my areas of expertise incl ADHD, Aspergers/ASD Lvl 1, Trauma and Work life problems amongst other issues. My approach is personable, empathetic, and I pride myself on being down-to-earth and unpretentious. Clients have commented on how comfortable they feel working with me, trusting that I have their best interests at heart. When appropriate I am also known to have a spring in my step and smile on my face. I trained as a counsellor at the University of Auckland, with a BA in psychology and education, and a Masters in counselling.
I adopt an integrated approach to my work, meaning I have the ability to adapt different therapeutic techniques to the personality & needs of each client. To date I have worked with a variety of cultures & ages.Clients have experienced issues with trauma related to abuse & disaster; workplace issues; ADHD & ASD. As well as anxiety, depression & relationships.
I actually live in Seattle, United States where I offer Video Call services to NZ and Seattle clients. I intend to return to NZ in the next couple of years and set up a home on land owned in Rotorua. I will then continue to offer video services to clients throughout NZ. **You may also make a booking online at https://www.annaredgrave.com/make-an-appointment.
