EMDR
therapies.
I see therapy as a safe space where you can work through whatever is causing you stress or distress in your life. Therapy can allow you to explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviours, learn different ways of coping, process grief and traumatic experiences, improve relationship dynamics, and learn to manage psychological and physical symptoms. I work in a down-to-earth, friendly, and professional manner. I try to help my clients feel as comfortable as possible discussing their difficulties with me, and draw on my full range of training and professional

Each client is unique, some preferring a traditional talking based therapy, others want something specific such as
EMDR
therapy to process difficult experiences, others prefer a creative approach.
My clients are ready to learn ways to help themselves. Together we embark on a supportive journey, whether that is through developing self-awareness, self-compassion, self-care, healthy communication, better life balance or about acquiring new skills and strategies to better support themselves. Client issues, needs and goals may be unique, but ultimately my clients are ready to try something new because old patterns produce the same old results.

EMDR Counsellors
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an information processing therapy that helps clients cope with trauma, addictions, and phobias. During this treatment, the patient focuses on a specific thought, image, emotion, or sensation while simultaneously watching the therapist's finger or baton move in front of his or her eyes. The client is told to recognize what comes up for him/her when thinking of an image; then the client is told to let it go while doing bilateral stimulation.
