About
Have you recently noticed yourself feeling low in mood and your relationships have changed because of this? Or that your interpersonal experiences have impacted your mood. It can feel like a revolving door as depression and anxiety changes the mind's view of ourselves and others. You may have noticed increasing conflict, dependence or isolation to name a few stressful experiences. Together we can work to improve your coping mechanisms to foster healthier relationships and regain a sense of yourself.
My skills are specialist in supporting individuals overcome life's difficulties including depression, and adjustment disorder. Working through interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) which is based on attachment theory we will explore your current relationships and recent events which have contributed to a negative cascade of feelings.
Reaching out for help can feel daunting but this courage you have to ask for help will pave a new path of recovery to mental wellbeing. My own values embody compassion, patience and respect for you as an individual; your strengths and your time. I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
